MARYADA OF AYODHYA

PREFACE

Sometime before and after cosecration (Pran prathistha) ceremony at Ayodhya Dham on 22nd January, 2024, there was an extensive coverage in the press. In view of historic importance of the event, an idea cropped up in my mind to utilize the relevant material available in the popular newspaper Hindustan Times and other overt channels to prepare a manuscript on Ayodhya Dham. I was fully convinced that the book will be useful for generations, otherwise the material on Ayodhya Dham in the newspaper would go the way to oblivion with the passage of time.
By mid-February 2024, I began a humble effort to prepare the manuscript and by the grace of Shri Ram, it was ready in no time. I can’t dare to claim myself as a scholar and an intellectual but my undying passion for writing remains strong despite my advanced age (85 years) and 16 books authored by me stand testimony to it.
The encouragement and inspiration to write always comes  from my adorable eldest brother Prof. P.N. Sharma, Principal (retd.), a renowned author of over 35 books, an eminent poet, a scholar par-excellence. During his life span (100 yrs), he blessed me for over 8 decades and after merger in the Divine Light, he continues to shower his benedictions and love.
