GURU JI

PREFACE

During the year 2022, at the invitation of a social activist Sh. Sunil Kumar, my close friend and an ardent devotee of Guru ji, I was privileged to attend ‘Satsang’arranged on three different occasions at Faridabad by the followers of Guru ji.
It was a lifetime experience, as my ecstasy was beyond description. The calmness, serenity, dedication, devotion and discipline displayed by the congregation was an exemplary one with a touch of perfection. On the top of it, the melodious recorded recitation of the ‘Gurbani’ and singing of heart touching bhajans was very soothing and ethereal.
Enamoured by the graceful persona and divinity of Guru ji, my belief was strengthened that Guru ji came on planet earth to bless and enlighten humanity, he was an Avatar, a descent of divinity into flesh. It is a known fact that India has been fortunate to be blessed with Mahapurushs and it is to them that we owe the sustenance of our faith and the nurturing of our unique all-embracing ethos. 
Guru ji devoted his entire life for the upliftment and welfare of the people. Though now, he is not around in his mortal frame, he showers his blessings on his devotees. To understand Guru ji, we require to follow the path shown by him and rest may be left on Guru ji.
After attending a few ‘Satsangs’ arranged by devotees of Guru ji an idea flashed across my mind, in consonance with my deep passion for writing, to make an attempt to pen a book on Guru ji, for a lay-man in simple words, so that the message and philosophy of Guru ji can be easily understood and imbibed in life.
It may not be out of context to mention that despite fifteen publications to my credit, initially I was hesitant to give a practical shape to my idea. Being an ordinary mortal, I know my limitations. Surprisingly , some how an inner urge (surged by the invisible helping hand of Guru ji) goaded me to make a sincere attempt to write a book on Guru ji, highlighting some of the sagas of his journey on the Planet Earth. It is a humble attempt and I feel that it is like giving a drop from the vast ocean of spectacular glimpses of Guru ji’s life. I express my gratitude to Guru ji for blessings. I firmly believe that the devotees of Guru ji would be blissfully benefitted by reading
the book and also by imbibing some to the commandments of Guru ji in day to day life, for avoiding the cycle of transmigration to attain liberation.
